Credit Card Acceptance

Major international credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, and American Express are accepted in large hotels, restaurants, shopping malls, and international chain stores. However, cashless mobile payment via WeChat Pay and Alipay dominates daily transactions in China. Many smaller establishments, street vendors, and local restaurants may not accept foreign credit cards, so carrying some cash or setting up mobile payment options is highly recommended.

Wuhan operates under China Standard Time (CST), which is UTC+8. China does not observe daylight saving time, so the time zone remains constant year-round.
